What is psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is a protected space in which people can speak openly about their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. It offers the opportunity to recognize distressing patterns, gain inner clarity, and develop new perspectives. Within an empathic and supportive atmosphere, you can feel understood, taken seriously, and supported. Psychotherapy helps you rediscover your own strengths and find ways to cope more effectively with life’s challenges. The goal is to gradually gain greater inner balance, joy in life, and self-confidence—step by step.
Topic: Confidentiality
Psychotherapists are legally bound by confidentiality under Section 45 of the Psychotherapy Act. This professional duty of confidentiality regarding the content of therapy is the foundation of the special relationship of trust in the therapeutic work between psychotherapists and patients. This ensures that the topics you raise remain within a protected and confidential setting.
If you would like further information about confidentiality, I am happy to discuss it with you in person. If you have any questions before your first appointment, you are also welcome to contact me in writing or by phone.

Existential analysis according to Alfried Längle, PD Dr.med. Dr. phil.
Existential analysis according to Alfried Längle is a psychotherapeutic approach that views the person in their full depth and uniqueness. It is based on the idea that we all strive for a life that feels internally coherent, meaningful, and fulfilling. At its core is the question: How can I live in a way that corresponds to my innermost self?
In therapy, we gently explore what truly moves you, which values and needs you carry within you, and how you can realize them in your life. Conscious awareness of feelings, inner attitudes, and personal possibilities plays an important role in this process.
Existential Analysis helps to identify the blockages that prevent us from living freely and in harmony with ourselves. It supports you in making decisions from a place of inner clarity and in taking responsibility for your own life.
This approach invites you to reconnect more consciously with what gives meaning, what sustains you, and what offers you a sense of belonging. Step by step, a deeper understanding of yourself and of your way of being in the world can emerge.
The goal is to find greater inner freedom, vitality, and connection—and to shape a life that truly feels “right.”
